Last gathering of the year for 2Zero: our States Representative Group meeting in Torino
On 10th and 11th December 2025, the States Representative Group (SRG) of the 2Zero partnership gathered for the last time in 2025.
This meeting was kindly hosted by Regione Piemonte, welcoming the team to present the preliminary outcomes of the first Collaboration Working Arrangement (CWA) 2Zero ever signed with a regional authority, just a year ago.
The first day started with a visit to two departments of Politecnico di Torino:
- Power Electronics Innovation Center for Sustainable Mobility
- Center for Automotive Research and Sustainable mobility
And continued with presentations from four different regional stakeholders:
- BEOND, dealing with advanced materials and testing, with a specific focus on battery pack and BMS;
- BYLOGIX, dealing with E/E architectures, system engineering, process definition and ADAS;
- FLAG-MS, addressing mechatronics projects, in automotive, but also in agriculture and space;
- WeTechnologies is a POLITO spin-off company that has developed a mobility platform (with more than 1 million downloads in Italy) and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS).
On the second day, SRG members and Piemonte representatives gathered to exchange perspectives on the ongoing activities relevant to the decarbonisation of road transport at local and European levels.
The afternoon discussions allowed the group to exchange on the possibility of continuing to deepen its coordination activities with regional authorities, with the participation of the Aragon region (Spain). The Chairwomen of the 2Zero SRG (Eleonora Riva Sanseverino) and CCMA SRG (Tereza Čížková) facilitated a discussion with other participants on the possible role of Member States under a possible future single automotive partnership.
