ERTRAC position paper on Road Transport Research in Horizon Europe follow-up
ERTRAC has published a position paper advocating for Road Transport Research in the context of the next EU budget 2028-2034 and the follow-up to Horizon Europe.
Besides a future partnership in the automotive sector, ERTRAC emphasises that we must provide support for system integration and multi-stakeholder innovation challenges across domains such as urban mobility, logistics, and road safety. Delivering innovation in these fields requires a systems approach that addresses the diversity of users, vehicles, and infrastructures (physical, digital, and energy).
