Transport Solutions: From Research to Deployment

Innovate Mobility, Mobilise Innovation! 

Taking place in the business district of Paris-La-Defense (CNIT) from 14 to 17 April, the next edition of the TRA conference, TRA 2014, will bring together companies, researchers and decision-makers with one motto: Innovate Mobility, Mobilise Innovation.

TRA (Transport Research Arena) is the major European conference dedicated to transport research. Since 2006, it is held every two years in a different European country. It is strongly supported by the European Commission, the Conference of European Road Directors (CEDR), and the three European Technology Platforms: the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC), the European Rail Research Advisory Council (ERRAC), and WATERBORNE TP. It gathers stakeholders from all modes of surface transport: road, rail, and maritime, as well as cross-modality.

Coordinated by Ifsttar (French Institute of Science and Technology of Transport, Development and Networks), the 5th edition of TRA is organised with the support of the French Ministry in charge of Transport.
With a new theme: «Transport Solutions: From Research to Deployment» and a new slogan: «Innovate Mobility, Mobilise Innovation», TRA 2014 will bring together 3,000 participants from Europe and beyond, and also from various backgrounds (industry delegates, researchers, academics, national and local decision-makers, infrastructures managers and owners, construction and engineering companies, traffic operation managers, transport operators, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers).
