ODYSSEV Citizen Awareness Workshop

Join the online event on 20 October 2026 and discover how high-voltage technologies are shaping the next generation of electric mobility.

The transition towards zero-emission mobility requires continuous innovation across vehicle architectures, battery systems, charging technologies, and power electronics. As electric vehicles become increasingly mainstream, researchers and industry leaders are exploring new approaches to improve efficiency, performance, and user experience.

One promising area of development is the adoption of vehicle architectures operating at voltages above 800 V. To introduce citizens and stakeholders to this emerging topic, the ODYSSEV project will host a Citizen Awareness Workshop, titled “Towards the Next Generation of Electric Vehicles: Benefits from Exploring Voltages Above 800 V”, on 20 October 2026 from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.

During the workshop, participants will gain insights into:

  • The benefits and challenges associated with EV voltages above 800 V
  • Technological innovations being developed within the ODYSSEV project
  • The role of advanced power electronics in future mobility systems
  • The broader implications for sustainable and competitive European transport
