TaP 2025

The 26th edition of the Transport and Pollution international conference (TaP 2025) will take place at IFP Energies nouvelles, Rueil-Malmaison (near Paris), from 4 to 6 November 2025 in person.

Join this new edition, during which experts from around the world will gather to share the latest scientific and technical advances in the study of transport impacts, with, for the first time, a focus beyond air quality to also consider noise, soil and water.

For over two decades, TAP international conferences have focused on emissions from transportation and their impact on air quality, covering various critical topics. Sessions will continue to cover essential topics, including new emission control concepts, measurement (among which remote sensing), decarbonisation, non-exhaust emissions and new worldwide regulations.
This year, the emphasis is put on two focal themes:

  • Assessment and modelling of emissions, fate and trends:
Measurement campaigns, emission factors, impacts of usage conditions; Exhaust and non-exhaust emissions from tire and brake; Primary and secondary aerosols and contribution to their formation; Regulated and non-regulated pollutants with a significant impact on air quality and health
  • Comprehensive environmental and social impacts of transports:
Scope extended beyond air quality, considering all forms of induced impacts (air, water and soil pollution, noise, etc.); Environmental and Social Life Cycle Analysis; CO₂ footprint of remediation solutions; Mobility management, role of digitalisation and big data; Innovative digital tools and methodologies as decision-making tools.

TaP is also organising a call for papers.  You can find all the details here. The deadline for submitting your abstract is 2 May 2025.

Save the date and get ready for exciting and insightful discussions, cutting-edge research attending the TaP 2025 international conference!
