Joint EC/EPoSS/ERTRAC Expert Workshop – June 2011
Electric Vehicle System Integration and Architecture
To be held in Berlin (Germany) on 30 June as a satellite event of the 15th International Forum on Advanced Microsystems for Automotive Applications (AMAA 2011) “Smart Systems for Electric, Safe and NEtworked Mobility” (www.amaa.de)
Subject of this workshop shall be current R&D activities and future challenges for the integration of efficiency, safety, and comfort functionalities into the system of the electric vehicle. A focus shall be put on smart concepts for the combination of energy storage systems, electric drives and brakes and power electronic controls in the vehicle which will enable radical cuts in weight, energy consumption and cost.
The workshop is jointly organized by the European Commission and the European Techology Plattforms ERTRAC and EPoSS. Its organization is facilitated through the ICT4FEV project.
