Join the VOLTCAR Final Event: showcasing results for sustainable battery value chains
After more than three years of collaborative research and innovation, the VOLTCAR project is approaching its conclusion. On 29 September 2026, project partners, industry stakeholders, researchers, and policymakers will gather at VTT Bioruukki in Espoo, Finland, for the project’s final event.
The event will provide a unique opportunity to discover the key outcomes of VOLTCAR and explore how the project has contributed to advancing sustainable, circular and resource-efficient battery value chains for the automotive sector. Participants will gain insights into the project’s technological developments, research findings, and practical recommendations that can help accelerate the transition towards cleaner and more sustainable mobility solutions in Europe.
Throughout the day, attendees will hear directly from project partners about the innovations developed during the project, the challenges addressed, and the lessons learned along the way. The event will also offer opportunities for networking and discussion with experts from across the battery, automotive, and research communities.
As Europe continues to strengthen its position in electric mobility and battery manufacturing, the results generated by VOLTCAR can play an important role in supporting a more resilient and circular battery ecosystem. The final event will be an opportunity to reflect on these achievements and discuss future perspectives beyond the project’s lifetime.
