INCIT-EV Project Final Event
The final event of the INCIT-EV project will take place on 26 June in Versailles and 27 June in Paris. You can participate online and on-site in the final event.
The INCIT-EV project aims to boost the uptake of electric mobility in Europe by innovating new charging technologies to make it easier for end users to switch to eMobility. It brings together more than 30 partners and is funded by the European Commission with an overall budget of more than 18 million euros.
Over the past four years, INCIT-EV partners have developed innovative smart and bidirectional charging or wireless charging that will shape the future of electric mobility such as smart and bidirectional charging or wireless charging. Significant efforts have also been made to assess its impact on the grid, ease of interoperability and payment, and associated business models.
Those attending the first day of the final event will be able to participate in several roundtables featuring key players, including:
- Decoding the EV users and stakeholders’ needs and expectations
- Aggregated smart Vehicle-to-Grid technology: a grid congestion solution
- Quantifying the need for charging infrastructures and planning their set up
- Interoperability for inductive charging: presentation of the INCIT-EV solution
- Investing in charging infrastructures: costs, benefits and main barriers for a fast implementation
At the final event, you will also be able to visit two of Europe’s flagship eRoads such as the two wireless charging demonstrations that have been set up in the project
- Satory 80-meter high-speed wireless charging road (26 June pm)
- Paris urban wireless eRoad in Pairs (27 June am)
The tentative agenda contains full details and participants. As an appetiser, you can watch this video about the inductive charging system developed in the project.
