ALICE webinar: Low Emissions Energy for Freight and Logistics
Low emission fuel and energy solutions have a key role in delivering a decarbonized freight transport and logistics sector and the EU Green Deal ambition. OEMs, suppliers and buyers of road freight transport services play a central role in the uptake of energy solutions but also face barriers.
Hence ALICE is organising a webinar and interactive session on November 4, 2020, from 14:00 – 16:00 CET.
After the first webinar in June 2020 (link), the webinar’s aim is to go deeper on ALICE members vision, approach and learnings on different fuels and alternatives with a focus on the regional and long haul freight transport. Speakers will share their views and development pathways in the short, medium and long term answering to the questions:
- What can we do now and what is in the pipeline for the short term?
- Which approaches to follow for a fuel selection?
- Which are the current barriers and limitations?
The webinar is planned for 90 min. After that time we will arrange a panel discussion with the speakers and we will organize and interactive session to get participants views as input for our next steps.
Discover the agenda on the event’s webpage.
This builds on the ALICE Roadmap for Zero Emissions Logistics 2050, the activities within the ALICE Sustainable Logistics Supply Chains Thematic Group in partnership with Smart Freight Center.
