SRIA Update Process – Status
The update of the 2Zero Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda started on 26th January of this year and continues through several targeted meetings and exchanges (with logistics players in January and the stakeholders from the energy grid in March). The SRIA is the reference document for implementing the “Towards zero emission road transport” partnership under the Horizon Europe programme.
Now that two Work Programme have already been published, it is necessary to revise the SRIA to assess what has been done and re-evaluate what are the necessary next steps to achieve our strategic vision.
All interested stakeholders can contribute to the update of the document. The whole value chain, and all sectors involved, can contribute to the revision, in order to better reflect the latest developments and evolution of the State of the Art.
Wherever needed, the 2Zero will re-evaluate its R&I needs and priorities. In the 2Zero SRIA, gaps, obstacles, challenges and next steps are being identified in each of its 4 Pillars
- vehicle technologies and vehicle propulsion solutions for BEV and FCEV
- Integration of the BEV into the energy system and related charging infrastructure
- Innovative concepts, solutions and services for the zero emission mobility of people and goods
- LCA and circular economy approaches for sustainable and innovative road mobility solutions.
The objective is to produce an update for June and a final publication for September.
The result of this work will shape the next 3 years of the 2Zero Work Programme.
