EGVIAfor2Zero General Assembly: New members and reelection fo the Executive Board
EGVIAfor2Zero members held their first general assembly of the year in Dublin, which coincided with the TRA Conference. During the assembly, EGVIAfor2Zero welcomed three new members: CENEX, NAAEV, and Universita degli studi di Padova, bringing the total number of members to 118.
The membership is structured as follows:
- 16 OEMs
- 25 automotive suppliers
- 3 representatives of the smart system industry
- 3 representatives of the smart grid industry
- 1 representative of the logistics industry and freight transport users
- 25 research organisations
- 26 universities
- 19 associate members
Roland Uelrich, SRIA co-leader for Pillar 1, will be leaving RWTH-IKA and will be replaced by Damian Backers, manager of the research area energy management and drivetrains at RWTH-IKA.
EGVIAfor2zero would like to thank Roland for his great contribution to Pillar 1.
The EGVIAfor2Zero Executive Board was re-elected for another three years, with the following members fulfilling their roles:
- Chairperson from the automotive industry: ERTRAC Chairman: Stephan Neugebauer, BMW
- Vice-Chairperson from the automotive industry, acting as Treasurer: Jean-Luc di Paola-Galloni, Valeo
- Vice-Chairperson from the smart systems industry: Wolfgang Dettmann, Infineon Technologies
- Vice-Chairperson from the logistics industry: Andrea Condotta, Gruber Logistics
- Vice-Chairperson from the grid industry: Uros Salobir, ELES
- Vice-Chairperson from the research members: Thilo Bein, Fraunhofer
- Secretary General: Horst Pflügl, AVL
The assembly concluded with a brief presentation of ongoing activities, such as the publication of the updated SRIA, the drafting of the IKAA report 2024, coordination with the Chips JU, the status of the States Representatives Group activities, the outcomes of the RTR conference 2024, and the ERTRAC Vision For FP10, followed by a calendar of activities for the upcoming year.
