Call for Applications – Commission Expert Group on European Union Research and Innovation for the Automotive Sector (EURIAS)

The European Commission has launched a call for applications for the selection of members of the information Commission Expert group on European Union Research and Innovation for the automotive sector (EURIAS).

The expert group, framed by the publication of the Industrial Action Plan for the European Automotive Sector in March 2025, has the purpose of advising the European Commission on the preparation of future policy initiatives and instruments related to research and innovation in the automotive sector.

The Expert Group will be composed of around 50 members, which will shall be EU organisations linked to the European automotive sector, which can be automotive manufacturers (OEM), suppliers in the automotive value chain, academia and research and technology organisations that develop cutting-edge research and innovation activities in the automotive sector, as well as civil society organisations whose mission is relevant for the automotive sector including, but not limited to, road safety, road infrastructure and operators, as well as mobility organisations.

Deadline for applications is 02/02/2026, 17:00 (CET).
