#ReskillEU Conference – The Research and Innovation perspective
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and DG Research & Innovation (DG RTD, European Commission) are collaborating to host a one-day conference, #ReskillEU, in Brussels on November 8, 2023. The event aims to address the growing demand for new clean energy and transportation skills, explicitly focusing on skill development through Research and Innovation (R&I) initiatives. Horizon Europe is dedicated to supporting skill development to ensure the success of the European Union’s green and digital transitions. This aligns with the objectives outlined in the European Skills Agenda for 2025, taking place during the European Year of Skills.
The conference will serve as a platform for bringing together key stakeholders, including civil society organisations, educational networks, academia, industry representatives, research organisations, and European institutions. These stakeholders will discuss the role of research and innovation activities in advancing Europe’s skills agenda.
