Joint workshop on “Measurement and characterisation of nanoparticle emissions from powertrains”
The 3 research EU projects DOWNTOTEN, PEMS4NANO and SUREAL-23 are organising a joint workshop on “Measurement and characterisation of nanoparticle emissions from powertrains”, in Thessaloniki on October 9-10, 2018 at the Research and Dissemination Center of the Aristotle University.
In addition to the three projects, coordinating the event, partners from EU projects on advanced engine development including DiePEr, EAGLE, PAREGEN, THOMSON and UPGRADE are expected to present their recent findings in the respective area.
It is also anticipated that representatives from EU institutions (DG Research, INEA, EGVIA, EUCAR,…), as well as US and Japan, will also participate.
The event is prepared with the intention to show the most updated findings on nanoparticle emissions with focus on the sub 23nm particles. The creation of future research exchanges and collaborations for innovative projects for clean engines as well as to the identification of opportunities for the exploitation of research results are also aimed at.
The keynote speaker will be Prof. Flemming Cassee.
Each session will address several thematic questions posed by the participating researchers and will be coordinated by invited speakers, experts in the specific research field. A parallel session is also foreseen that will include poster presentations.
Participation is free of charge.
Details for registration and abstract submission will follow in the next weeks.
