ZEvRA Academy: supporting skills for a circular EV future

The transition to zero-emission mobility requires not only new technologies but also new skills. Developed as part of the EU-funded ZEvRA project, the ZEvRA Academy helps bridge this gap by providing free training resources for automotive professionals, researchers, educators and other stakeholders interested in circular and sustainable electric vehicles.

Hosted on a multilingual Moodle platform, the Academy translates ZEvRA’s research and innovations into practical learning materials. Courses cover topics linked to vehicle circularity, sustainable manufacturing, assessment methodologies and digital tools designed to improve the environmental performance of electric vehicles throughout their lifecycle.

The platform offers a mix of long and short courses, webinar series and bite-sized video content for technology transfer. Participants can also benefit from AI tutor support and receive certificates upon completion of selected courses. All content is available free of charge in multiple languages, including English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Hungarian, Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish and Turkish.

The Academy is aimed at automotive engineers, designers, supply chain professionals, academics and policymakers seeking a better understanding of circularity and zero-emission solutions. By making project results accessible to a wider audience, it supports the adoption of sustainable practices across the automotive sector.

As ZEvRA enters its final phase, the Academy will continue to expand with new training opportunities, webinars and stakeholder events, including CIRMA 2026, taking place on 24–25 November 2026.
