metaCCAZE open call for 10 Observer Cities
The metaCCAZE project is a Horizon Europe MISSION initiative co-funded by the 2Zero, CCAM, and Cities’ Mission partnerships. It is part of the CIVITAS Initiative, a European Union-funded program aimed at making sustainable and smart mobility a reality for everyone. The project contributes to the goals of the EU Mission for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities and builds upon the expertise of 44 partners from 12 European countries. Its aim is to achieve the green metamobility era envisioned by the Green Deal, 2ZERO, CCAM, Cities Mission, CIVITAS, and other EU initiatives by 2030.
In four pioneering cities—Amsterdam, Munich, Limassol, and Tampere—metaCCAZE implements, tests, and demonstrates innovative technologies and services that support shared zero-emission mobility solutions for both people and goods, contributing to climate neutrality. Successful technologies and activities will then be transferred and implemented in six follower cities: Athens, Krakow, Gozo, Milan, Miskolc, and Poissy (Paris).
Ready to transform your city’s mobility?
On December 17th, the project launched a call for 10 additional European cities to join as Observers. By joining metaCCAZE, cities can:
- Receive Cutting-Edge Insights into zero-emission mobility solutions.
- Develop Tailored Implementation Plans to address local needs and challenges.
- Build Capacity for scaling success and driving sustainable innovation.
-

By integrating Observer Cities, metaCCAZE aims to replicate successful solutions, build local capacity, engage stakeholders, ensure sustainability, and amplify its impact across Europe.
